Belinda is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, having been called to the bar in 2016. Belinda holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Human Rights Law from the Oxford Brookes University.
Belinda’s areas of law practice are litigation, commercial law, alternative dispute resolution, election petitions, and probate and administration. In that regard, Belinda’s work experience cuts across both public and private matters. Belinda has experience and understanding of laws, legal codes, court procedures and government regulations.
Belinda joined our firm in 2015 as a Pupil, and has obtained considerable legal experience over the years in the aforementioned areas of law practice. Moreover, Belinda has sufficient knowledge of the common law system as applied locally, fundamental principles of law in all practice areas learnt and relevant legal lingua. In addition, Belinda’s research skills enable her to source required information, evaluate and present the findings to completed legal tasks. Belinda also has commendable skills in report writing and in relevant filing requirements and timelines.
